In a study published in the British Journal of Psychiatry, researchers discovered that those who consumed large amounts of processed sugar experienced depression, anxiety and mood swings.

Desire appears immediately after you stop eating sugar. This craving rises due to fluctuating levels of brain hormones.
2. Fatigue and anxiety

The researchers concluded that withdrawal from sugar is similar to withdrawal of opiates, nicotine and morphine.
